Welcome at the Central Institute for Scientific Computing (Zentralinstitut für Scientific Computing, ZISC) of the Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nuremberg.
The ZISC is the center of competence for scientific computing within the Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nuremberg. As one of the first central institutes of this kind within Germany and founded out of the cluster of excellence Engineering of Advanced Materials (EAM), the ZISC combines the expertise and experience of more than 30 research facilities within the university. With this the ZISC represents a unique interdisciplinary platform for cooperation, which provides the necessary environment for even the most complex research activities in the field of numerical simulation and scientific computing.
